Für alle Fans von Statistiken habe ich diesmal die richtige Datenbank, die richtig groß ist und jede Menge College und Pros enthält: 1,7 Millionen Sportler und 20.000 Teams aus 23 Sportarten! Die Datenbank heißt Fanbase und beinhaltet so ziemlich alles, was man sich von einem Almanac wünscht.

Einzelne Spieler oder Teams können über das Suchfeld direkt abgefragt werden. Man erhält viel Informationen, sowie eine Tonne weiterführender Links. Tolles Angebot, dass auch noch kostenlos ist!

Playersearch ist eine Suchmaschine, die Informationen zu Profispielern zusammenträgt, egal ob NFL, MLB oder Basketball. Alles, was nur irgendwie mit Sport zu tun hat, findet Berücksichtigung.

Ich hab also mal Dustin Pedroia eingegeben, und erhielt eine Seite voller lokaler, nationaler News, Video-Clips mit Dustin, zahlreiche Weblinks (zu Stats-Seiten, Red Sox, und sogar Wikipedia …) sowie sehr viele Fotos aus verschiedensten Quellen. Zusätzlich gibt es Meldung, die über Dienste wie Digg generiert werden, sowie zahlreichen Sport-Blogs.

Was hat es mit Fantasy Football Nerd? Es ist eine Suchmaschine, die Stats und Wertungen vieler Webseiten zusammenfasst. Oder anders ausgedrückt:
